Cranberries mashed with sugar is a cross between jam and jam. This culinary recipe requires not quite raw cranberries – we have to cook it a little. But in the end, the food turns out to be very tender, fragrant, rich. This is one way of processing cranberries from someone's forgotten kitchen. By the way, this berry is considered very useful for the cardiovascular system. In addition, it removes excess cholesterol from the body and strengthens blood vessels.
We carefully sort through the berries, clean them from the stems, then rinse them under running water. We put it in a saucepan, fill it with cold water. When the water boils, turn down the heat and cook the cranberries for ten minutes. Then drain into a colander and let the water drain. Turn cranberries into mashed potatoes in any way convenient for you: either in a blender or grind through a sieve. Then add sugar to the berry puree, mix well. And we put it on a slow fire. We don't stop interfering for a second. As soon as the berry boils, we immediately remove it and put it into the already prepared jars without delay. Sterilize for half an hour, then roll up. Such cranberries can be added to tea, smeared on bread or made into a morse.
