Very tasty jam behaves perfectly as a filling for buns! My husband's favorite jam is apple. I prepare it quite a lot, because during the winter I often cook a lot of various food with it: pies, pies, strudels and even charlottes. So, we start by washing the apples, removing the seeds and cutting them into slices. Now we prepare the syrup. To do this, over medium heat, dissolve a kilogram of sugar in a glass of water until smooth. After that, we lower the prepared apples into boiling sugar syrup. Reduce the heat and cook the mass for 10 minutes. Then turn off the fire, let the jam stand for 6 hours. We repeat this procedure two more times. At the end of cooking, add citric acid and mix well. Now we shift the finished jam from apples into slices in pre-sterilized jars and tightly close the lids. After that, we wrap the jam jars in a warm blanket and put them in a warm place for slow cooling.
