Goulash soup

A hearty, healthy and very savory first course for the home menu. A couple of days ago, while reading a work of fiction by a Hungarian writer, I noticed a certain food called goulash soup, which the main character of the story often ate. As a venerable cook, I was wondering what kind of Hungarian cuisine is this, about which I still don't know anything? After a little searching in my favorite cookbook, I found the same recipe for this dish. I really liked it, I recommend that you try to cook it. How? Read on.

To begin with, heat a small amount of fat in a small saucepan, put finely chopped onion in it and mix all this mass well. After that, we put the beef pre-washed and cut into small pieces in our saucepan. Sprinkle it with salt and red paprika, and lightly fry it over low heat for a few minutes. After 2-3 minutes, gradually pour in half a liter of water. When the meat is almost cooked, put the potatoes cut into small cubes in a saucepan and add more water, tomato and cook until fully cooked.
