Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 15 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the purges according to the list. Boiled sausage without fat, you can take sausages. Any cheese will do, I have a hard one, but you can take both soft and semi-hard. One egg may not be enough, just in case, keep another one in reserve - it will depend on how much lavash will be dipped into the egg before frying. I take dill greens, but you can use any one you like.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Remove the selected sausage and cheese from the package, grate it on a coarse grater and put it in a deep bowl. Rinse and dry the fresh dill greens. Finely chop the dill and add it to a bowl with sausage and cheese. Add mayonnaise there, mix everything thoroughly. For me, there is enough salt here, but if it seems too little, then you can add a little salt.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Remove the pita bread from the package. Spread a sheet of lavash on the table. Put the filling on the edge of the sheet with a strip (you should not regret the filling) and roll the pita bread into a roll so that the filling remains inside. Cut a roll of pita bread into portions, the size of which you choose according to your taste, I had squares of 6 x 6 cm.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Put a frying pan to heat up with a small amount of vegetable oil. Break the egg into a deep bowl, beat lightly with a fork and add salt (optional). Put each piece of sliced pita bread into the egg on both sides and spread it on a preheated frying pan.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Fry the pita bread with filling on both sides over medium heat until golden brown: first on one side, then carefully so that the filling does not leak out, turn over and fry on the other side. Put the finished squares on a plate with a napkin so that the excess fat is absorbed.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Serve fried pita bread with sausage and cheese hot when the crust is crunchy and the cheese from the filling stretches. This delicious snack is suitable for tea or coffee. These squares will really appeal to children.

Fried pita bread with sausage and cheese we really liked. This is an idle snack that does not require great cooking skills, expensive products and a lot of time, scattered in a matter of minutes. It's very tasty. Definitely will cook this dish often.
