Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

1. Soak the loaf pieces in milk. Cut the meat (it is better to take fat) into pieces. Peel the onion. Chop all these ingredients into minced meat. Mix well, adding salt in the process. Beat off the minced meat.
2. Make a cross-shaped incision on the tomatoes and pour boiling water over them. After 10 seconds, drain the water, and peel the tomatoes. Puree tomatoes with a fork, blender, meat grinder, mortar, mash machine, - as you like. Add a pinch of salt to the resulting tomato puree. Pour the tomato into a frying pan and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes. Then add sour cream and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
3. Make meatballs from minced meat, pan them in flour and fry in a frying pan with oil on both sides until golden brown.
4. Put the finished meatballs in the sauce, add the herbs and bay leaf here. Cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes. If the sauce evaporates too much, add water.
It's delicious to serve such meatballs with gravy with rice, mashed potatoes and pasta.
Have fun!
