Quick dough pies in a frying pan with mushrooms and chicken

Unusual, but very interesting and easy to prepare pies! I found this recipe by chance on the Internet - and I immediately liked it... An unusual, but very fast dough for pies, an interesting molding and a very tasty filling - all this simply could not leave me indifferent and I tried to cook them! The result exceeded all my expectations - fresh pies turn out slightly crispy, and when they lie down a little, they become soft and stay like this for several days!

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 50 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Here are all the necessary ingredients

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

The dough is prepared in a matter of minutes: melt the butter, add the milk and gradually pour the flour. I did not add salt to the dough - I liked it (because the filling will be salty), but if desired, you can add 0.5 teaspoons of salt.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

With a spoon, then knead the dough with your hands. It is kneaded very easily. Then we put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator while we are doing the filling

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

And for the filling, finely chop the onion

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Fry in a preheated frying pan...

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

    ... up to golden color

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Then add the minced meat (I have chicken, but you can take any other) and mix, trying to break the lumps, fry for 3-5 minutes

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

    Salt

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

    Pepper

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Add mushrooms (I have these forest porcini mushrooms, but you can take any others - champignons, oyster mushrooms - it will be very tasty)

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

    Mix

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Fry under the lid for another 5-7 minutes, and then leave the filling to cool. By the way, the filling can be prepared in advance - then our pies will be even faster

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

We take our dough out of the refrigerator and cut it into 3-4 parts

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

From any part we pinch off a piece the size of a plum

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

Roll out thinly (by the way, you do not need to add flour, due to the fact that butter is added to the dough, it will not stick to the table)

  16. Step 16:

    Step 16.

    Put a little filling

  17. Step 17:

    Step 17.

Fold the dough in half and pinch the edges in the form of a small cheburek

  18. Step 18:

    Step 18.

35-40 pies are obtained from these ingredients

  19. Step 19:

    Step 19.

Fry the pies in a heated frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil. Again, due to the added butter, the pies absorb less vegetable oil when frying

  20. Step 20:

    Step 20.

Turn over and fry on the other side

  21. Step 21:

    Step 21.

    Bon appetit!
