Stewed carrots with prunes

Unexpectedly pleasant combination of flavors, spicy dessert: you'll lick your fingers. I took up this dish by accident: there were a lot of carrots in the house. I did not think and did not expect that carrots would be good in dessert. And here it is a discovery: the dish turned out to be awesome how delicious! We forgot about him that night and ate in the morning for dessert. We ate all three of them at once, and also thought that it would not be enough ... :))) I understand that important conditions for the preparation of this dish are compliance with technology, quality products, evaporation of excess moisture when stewing for more than an hour. And it is also important: it is very good that we forgot about the dish at first, it was infused, became even more fragrant and saturated in taste, and in consistency it was just a miracle, it resembled either soft marmalade or thick jam. Moreover, I also enlightened myself before cooking this wonderfully delicious, fragrant dish, having read about it on the Internet. I found out that this dish of Jewish cuisine is called Tzimes. There are several options for making this dessert. Here is one of them. Try it and you, I hope that you will like this dessert too!
