Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

    Prepare the necessary ingredients.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

The meat must be frozen, but not frozen in order for it to be easily cut. Cut the meat into thin slices and add a little pepper.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the meat on a sufficiently high heat for about a minute. Then remove from the pan into a cup.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Peel the onion, cut into cubes and fry in the remaining oil until soft.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Then transfer it to a bowl of meat.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Wash potatoes, peel, cut into strips. Pour oil into a frying pan and fry the potatoes almost until tender.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put the meat and onion on the potatoes and bring them over low heat until cooked. In principle, it is already possible to stop at this step, this is where the grandmother's version ends.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

If you want to add new flavors to this dish, then you can serve it with lingonberry or cranberry sauce. Crush two cloves of garlic with the blunt side of a knife, without peeling. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil and heat the garlic over medium heat for 1 minute. Remove the garlic. Add the washed and slightly dried cranberries or lingonberries to the oil, fry a little in oil. The berries should release juice. Add pepper, sugar, honey and cook for three minutes.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

The first option is served with cucumbers, fresh vegetables, sauerkraut or simply sprinkled with herbs. The second one is self-sufficient in taste, so you just need to pour berry sauce over the dish. Enjoy your meal!!!
