Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 45 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

To begin with, the pita bread must be cut into rectangular portions. It will be possible to cook something else from the scraps, but we need smooth layers of lavash.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Put the cottage cheese of your favorite fat content and consistency in a bowl (preferably finely granulated).

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add finely chopped greens (I have dill and green onions, you can also add parsley).

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Grate your favorite cheese (you can also grate on a large one, but since there is not much cheese, I grate on a small one).

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Add cheese, eggs, paprika, turmeric and salt to the cottage cheese to taste. You can also add black pepper for sharpness.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Mix until smooth. In the process of mixing, if you have granulated cottage cheese, like mine, it is advisable to crush it slightly so that there are not many large granules, then it will be easier to smear on the pita bread.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put the filling on the layer of pita bread, smear it with a thin layer.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Twist the roll, press down slightly so that the end does not unwind.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

These rolls are obtained in the end, they are quite stable, and should not be unwound.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Add vegetable oil to the pan, heat it up and fry on medium heat on both sides until cooked. You can just fry the rolls as they are, and they will turn out like this.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

And you can pre-dip them in an egg, and you will get these. How it tastes better is up to you, try and choose :) Bon appetit!

Since I am a lazy hostess, and I prefer to cook delicious, but simple recipes, without long dances with a tambourine near the stove, these rolls make me very happy with the ease of cooking and taste. I cook them often, everyone at home is delighted and always asks for more. In addition, they are quite light in themselves, and may well be used with diets.

In this recipe, there are scraps from the pita bread, which I use to make unusual cupcakes, which also delight all the household, and which I will tell you about next time.

Bon appetit to everyone!
