Meat balls in Italian sauce

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h

1. We start by slicing onions into small cubes. Onions need to be cleaned for this.
2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and send the onion there. Fry until transparent.
3. Meanwhile, soak the bread crumb and cut half of the parsley. Do not forget to stir the onion.
4. In a bowl we send minced meat, parsley, soaked bread, squeezed from water.
5. We also send the browned onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper and break the egg.
6. Mix the minced meat and the ingredients added to it until smooth.

Mince while we set aside and make the sauce:

7. Turn on the stove and put the dishes where we put out the balls. We put fresh and canned tomatoes in it in their own juice, add dried garlic, ground black pepper, salt and an Italian herb mixture. Stir and bring to a boil.
8. Meanwhile, chop the basil and the remaining parsley, send it to a saucepan with sauce. Turn down the fire and leave to languish.

The final stage of cooking:

9. At this time, we form balls of minced meat the size of a small chicken egg. And when they are all formed, we lower them into boiling sauce.
10. Stew the meat balls under the lid for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.

Serve with Italian pasta or other favorite side dish. Grate the parmesan on top.
