Barbecue wings in the oven

A real delicious holiday for a fun company. I know people for whom fried or baked wings are the most favorite dish. And really, hot, juice-dripping wings with crispy skin have quite tender and tasty meat inside, even if there is not much of it

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 6 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Wash the chicken wings, dry them and put them in a deep dish. If desired, you can cut them into two or three parts. I usually prefer to bake them whole.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Marinade. To prepare the marinade, we will need: tomato paste, half a lemon or already squeezed lemon juice, soy sauce, sugar, dry garlic (can be replaced with fresh), dried basil, a mixture of freshly ground peppers.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Combine tomato paste, soy sauce, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar, dry garlic, dried basil and ground black pepper in a bowl.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

    Mix everything well.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pour the marinade into the wings.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Mix everything well so that the tomato marinade is evenly distributed over all the wings.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Tighten the container with wings with cling film and put it to marinate in the refrigerator for 5 hours, or better for the whole night - so the meat is better soaked with marinade, it will be juicier and more fragrant. Periodically shake the wings so that the marinade is distributed more evenly.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Put the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake in preheated to 200 °In the oven for about 25 minutes, periodically pouring fat from the bottom of the mold. Then turn on the top grill and bake the wings for another 10 minutes.

I couldn't stand wings before. We have never cooked them as a separate dish. And they usually came across in the soup. Rice. Which I couldn't stand in my childhood. However, once I had a chance to try them at my husband's corporate party - and I realized why they sing such songs of praise. It's really delicious. Since then, I have been cooking them periodically and each time in a different way. From those recipes that are on the website: wings in soy sauce, baked in the oven, wings baked in soy-honey marinade, wings in soy sauce in the oven

Soy sauce appears in all recipes, but the wings taste different. This time the marinade was based on tomato paste. This gave the wings a different taste. Tomato marinade can be shaken off and baked wings without it, and   you can put it on top of the wings (like mine).
