    Preparation of products. First we defrost the chicken. I had one thigh that I took the skin off. The berries need to be washed. We clean the onion, dip it in water for comfortable cutting. Pepper peas and coriander seeds are ground in a mortar.

    Cut the chicken fillet into convenient pieces, they were closer to squares in my shape. In a deep bowl, mix them with sugar, turmeric, paprika, ground coriander and pepper, add vegetable oil. Salt is not involved in the marinade, as it will make the fillet tougher. We leave the meat to soak for half an hour.

    We soak the skewers in a deep dish, while the fillet is being marinated. Then the tips of the pieces of wood will remain light after frying, will be more presentable. Dried cherries are soaked separately, so that it is not hard after frying.

    We divide the onion into layers, choose a thicker one. Cut into squares in the shape of pieces of chicken fillet. We check on the skewer so that the margins are not too narrow.

    We begin to string a square of onion on skewers from below, then a cherry berry. The third in order is a piece of chicken fillet, which is pre-rolled in sesame seeds. Repeat the combination of onions, cherries and chicken. It turns out five times, the closing one will be another square of onion.

    I put the finished skewers on the grill and put them on the central level in the oven. Below the level was a baking tray with water. If there is no grid, you can use any shape that fits the size. It is also necessary to pour water on the bottom of this container. Fry in the oven. My kebabs took twenty minutes (200 gr.).

    We take the browned, fragrant kebabs out of the oven. Serve well with any greens. For lovers of salty I put soy sauce. Fresh celery and fennel or dill are perfectly combined with chicken kebabs. In my opinion, it turned out to be a beautiful composition. To taste, the cherries have steamed and perfectly complement the chicken in spices, and the onion squares are baked, but not burnt.

These chicken kebabs are delicious not only when hot, but also when cold. They are convenient to take with you for an office feast. For a children's holiday, spicy spices should be excluded.
