How to make chicken wings in mayonnaise in the oven?

1. Turn on the oven to warm up to 180 degrees.

2. Wash the chicken wings thoroughly under running water and dry with a paper towel. Put the clean wings in a deep bowl.

3. Peel the garlic and grind it through a press. Before you start processing chili peppers, it is better to wear gloves to protect the skin from possible burns. After that, rinse the chili pepper, cut the stalk, cut in half and remove the seeds. Finely chop.

4. In a separate container, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and ketchup. It will be a marinade for chicken wings. Salt and other spices can not be added, since the components of the marinade already contain them. In the same place, add chopped garlic and hot pepper to the marinade.

5. Transfer the marinade to the bowl where the chicken wings are. Put on a glove so as not to get burned by hot pepper, and thoroughly mix the chicken wings in the marinade so that each piece is covered with it. Let the wings stand in this form for about 10-15 minutes.

5. Cover a baking sheet or baking dish with a sheet of parchment. Place chicken wings covered with marinade on parchment. Then put the wings in the preheated oven for an hour and a half, depending on the power of the oven and the size of the chicken wings.

6. While the meat is baking, prepare a sauce in which you can dip the baked chicken wings. To do this, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice and lemon zest in a separate container, add Dijon mustard. Rinse the cilantro, dry it and finely chop it. Transfer the chopped greens to the sauce and mix everything well. Try the sauce and, if necessary, adjust the taste by adding the missing ingredients.

7. As soon as the chicken wings are covered with an appetizing brown crust, they can be removed. Transfer the baked wings to a beautiful dish, garnish with herbs and serve with mayonnaise sauce.

Bon appetit!
