Pelengas baked in foil in the oven

Juicy and fragrant! Unrealistically delicious fish! I suggest cooking pelengas baked in foil in the oven. The fish cooked in this way turns out to be very juicy and fragrant, causing delight among the household and guests.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 10 min

We clean the fish from scales and entrails, cut off the fins, wash the carcasses under running water.

Lubricate the fish with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, fill the bellies with halves of cherry tomatoes and onion, cut into rings. Also, add a sprig of fresh herbs and a couple of lemon slices to the filling.

Wrap the fish in foil and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. After half an hour, we open the foil slightly so that the fish is baked until golden brown, leave for 10 minutes.

Serve on the table, supplemented with vegetable salad or a side dish of potatoes.
