Cottage cheese cake with dried apricots

A piece of such a cupcake can replace breakfast. While raking through my photos of past years, I came across a recipe for this cupcake. It turns out to be very nutritious and satisfying thanks to cottage cheese. Cottage cheese and dried apricots are classics. Recall only the well-known curd mass with pieces of dried apricots.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

1. Dough. Melt the butter. Mash the cottage cheese. Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar white. Sift the flour and add to the eggs. Pour in the melted butter, add cottage cheese and sour cream. Add baking powder. Knead a thick, but not steep dough.

2. Filling. Pre-soak dried apricots in hot water for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly, pour boiling water over them and cut into small pieces.

3. Combine dried apricots with dough and mix.

4. Lightly grease the baking dish with butter. Put the dough in it.

5. Bake the cake for about 40 minutes in a preheated 180 ° C oven.

6. Impregnation. Dissolve the sugar in warm boiled water.

7. Lubricate the finished cake with sugar dissolved in water and sprinkle with almond petals.
