Sponge cake on yolks

A great base for a birthday cake or an independent dessert! A good and delicious crumbly sponge cake. It does not differ in taste from the classic, which is on proteins. Maybe a brighter color. From these products, cakes are not very large. In general, a biscuit can only be cut into two cakes. So if you need a big cake, the ingredients can be doubled.

Cooking the dough for this biscuit is short and easy. Therefore, it is better to preheat the oven in advance.

Add sugar, vanilla and a little warm water to the yolks. Beat until the mixture turns white.

Sift flour into a separate bowl, then pour baking powder and starch into it. Mix the mixture well.

Combine the contents of two bowls, mix with careful movements until smooth.

Cover the form with parchment, lay out the dough and immediately put it in the oven. Bake at 180 degrees until the sponge cake is browned. Approximately in time it will be 25 minutes.

The finished biscuit can be used as a base for the cake immediately or frozen for the future. You can also soak it, decorate it with berries or whipped cream, for example, and serve it with tea as an independent dessert.

Sweet tea party!
