Cooking time: 1 h 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Ingredients for the dough.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Pour sifted flour, a pinch of salt into the bowl of the combine, add diced cold butter, grind into crumbs. If you knead with your hands, grind quickly, so that the oil does not have time to heat up from your hands, do not achieve complete uniformity, it's okay if you come across pieces of butter.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

We drive 1 egg into the butter crumb.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Add cold water to the crumb 1 tbsp. l. knead the dough (it took me 3 tbsp. l., but you may need more or less).

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put the dough into a ball, you do not need to knead. The finished dough is wrapped in a film and sent to the refrigerator for 30 minutes, or better for 1 hour.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the onion. Fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally until soft for about 20-30 minutes. Add salt and sugar to taste. (At the very beginning, I add a pinch of sugar, so the onion begins to brown more easily).

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Roll out the cooled dough, put it in a mold (diameter 22-24 cm). The surface of the dough is pricked with a fork.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Cover the dough with parchment on top, fill the mold completely with beans or peas. Bake in preheated to 200 C with beans for 10 minutes, after 10 minutes, remove the beans with parchment and bake for another 10 minutes.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

    Filling ingredients.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Preparing the fill. Add the mashed cottage cheese, 2 eggs, salt and pepper to the cream.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Grate the cheese, chop the parsley and add to the creamy mixture. Mix everything thoroughly.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

We put onion filling in the sand base.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

Pour the filling on top and bake in a preheated 180 C oven for about 30-40 minutes. The surface of the kish should be well browned. Let the pie cool down a little and serve it to the table! Bon appetit!
