Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

First of all, we wash the poppy in a fine sieve, then place it in a suitable-sized ceramic bowl and pour boiling water. In this form, we leave the poppy to swell for half an hour. And while the poppy is infused, we prepare the dough.

In a large deep container, break an egg, pour granulated sugar and rub these ingredients thoroughly with a tablespoon. Butter is melted in a water bath or in a microwave (this is easy to do by setting the lowest temperature, you can use the "Defrost" mode), cool, add to the sugar-egg mixture. We are interfering well.

Sift flour into a separate bowl, pour baking powder. Mix them thoroughly with a whisk. Next, pour this mixture into the rest of the ingredients in parts and mix everything well. Knead the dough.

Grease the baking dish with the remnants of butter (a round shape with a diameter of 22 centimeters is ideal). We put the dough into a mold and distribute it along the bottom and walls, making the sides about 4-5 centimeters high. We put the form with the formed sonova in the refrigerator for now.

We put the cottage cheese in the bowl of a blender. If desired, if it is very granular, it can be wiped through a sieve. Add chicken eggs (2 pieces) to the cottage cheese, beat everything thoroughly with a blender. next, corn starch (can be replaced with potato), ordinary and vanilla sugar are poured into the future curd filling. Beat everything well again.

Now we divide the filling into two equal parts. In one part we spread the poppy, which must first be thrown on a sieve and wait for the excess moisture to drain. We thoroughly interfere. We take the base out of the refrigerator and begin to put the filling into it. It's not difficult to do this! We put a tablespoon of filling without poppy seeds in the center - it immediately begins to spread. We put a tablespoon of filling with poppy seeds on it - it also begins to spread. We do it this way, alternating fillings until they run out.

Next, using a toothpick, draw lines from the edges of the base to the center. That's all, it remains only to bake the pie.

Put the pie in a preheated 170 degree Celsius oven for 50 minutes.

Sweet tea party!
