Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Sift flour together with baking powder and soda. Apples are 5 medium-sized pieces, but you can safely take 6-7. The amount of dough allows for more fillings. Spices - optional. I have: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg. The oil is 82% fat content.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Beat eggs with salt and sugar until fluffy, lightened mass. My mixer is weak, it can take me 10-15 minutes.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

While the eggs are being beaten, I wash the apples, peel them, cut them quite large.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

I sweat butter and honey either in the microwave or in a steam bath. Connecting. I'm letting it cool down a little.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Combine flour with baking powder, soda and spices. Mixing it up.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

When the eggs are beaten, I add butter with honey. I mix it literally for a couple of minutes. Then I add dry ingredients in 2-3 passes. I mix it well. Stirred with a mixer at low speeds. It's okay if the dough loses a little pomp.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Add apples. I mix everything well again. I put it in the form, level it out. By the way, the size is 19 cm. Sides smeared with butter. Sprinkle sugar well on top. Ideally, of course, brown. And I send it to the oven preheated to 170 degrees. The baking time is at least an hour. It's better to focus on your oven. If the temperature is raised too much, the cake will darken well (because of the honey). And so it will bake evenly and get a golden crust

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

I baked for 40 minutes under foil, then 35 minutes without. I check readiness with a wooden stick. It should come out dry and clean.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Let it cool completely and take it out of the mold.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

And can be served. The photo, of course, does not convey everything, but the knife in the pie just dissolves. Very delicate, fragrant, but at the same time moist. Not complicated at all and so delicious.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

No one will refuse a piece of such a pie for sure. A lot of apples with a slight sourness, a sweet, fragrant dough and a crispy, sugar crust. Moist, tender, spicy, moderately sweet. Despite the soda and baking powder in the composition, they are not felt at all. I hope you like the recipe and it will be useful. Everyone has a wonderful mood!!!
