Chicken tobacco potatoes

A hearty dinner for family and guests! Very tasty! Tobacco chicken is a very satisfying dish, and even if it's the way my family likes it, with potatoes, then it's generally delicious. Guests are always delighted! The chicken turns out piquant, with juicy flesh and a crispy crust. Yummy!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 45 min

1. Wash the chicken, dry it and cut it horizontally across the breast.
2. Rub the bird with salt, pepper, spices and garlic powder (I sometimes replace it with fresh garlic).
3. Mix the juice of half a lemon with honey and olive oil, mix well and rub the chicken with this mixture from the inside.
4. Put the chicken in a baking sheet with the greased side down and lubricate the upper side with the skin. Put in the oven for 20 minutes. The temperature is 190 degrees.
5. Peel, wash and dry the potatoes. Cut into 4 pieces lengthwise.
5. Turn the chicken over to the other side and cover the sides with potatoes.
6. Turn the chicken over during cooking every 15-20 minutes. The baking time is 60-70 minutes.
7. When the chicken is cooked, remove it and the potatoes to the dish.

Bon appetit!
