Nests with navaga

Tired of boring fish dishes? There is a way out! Prepare fish nests! The nests are prepared very simply, but they turn out tender and juicy. The dish is very unusual and suitable for both the daily menu and for receiving guests. I usually cook it for dinner, and serve it with a salad of any fresh vegetables.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 20 min

1. Cut the thawed fillet into small pieces, season with salt and pepper.
2. Cut the baguette into 2 cm thick slices. Then put them to soak in milk.
3. Finely chop the onion and herbs and add to the navage, mix thoroughly.
4. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and set aside. At this point, you can already turn on the oven to warm up to 180 degrees.
5. Grease a baking sheet with oil and, slightly squeezing, put a milk-soaked baguette on it.
6. In each slice, make a recess using a small bowl or just press it with your hand.
7. In the resulting recesses, put a mixture of navaga and onion, brush with mayonnaise on top.
8. Put the nests in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
9. Then sprinkle the nests with the prepared cheese and put it in the oven for another 5 minutes.

Ready-made nests from navaga can be immediately laid out on plates or carefully placed on a large dish.

Bon appetit!
