Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

~400g plums (about 20 pieces), 1.5 cups sugar, 1 cup flour, 150g butter, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup milk, 2 h spoons baking powder, vanillin
Butter at room temperature (leaving a small piece – the size of a matchbox), grind with 3/4 cup of sugar, baking powder and vanilla into a homogeneous soft mass.
Stir in the flour.
Add eggs and milk; stir well.
Cut the plums into halves and remove the bones.
In a frying pan, melt the postponed butter, pour sugar (the remaining 3/4 cup) and bring to a boil.
Lay out the plums cut down, so as to fill the entire bottom in one layer.

In this recipe, it is best to use a frying pan with a removable handle – you can put it on the fire and in the oven.
If there is no such frying pan, but there is only a form that cannot be put on the stove, then you need to melt the sugar and butter in a small saucepan, pour it into the mold and then spread the plums.
Carefully put the dough on top of the plums with a spoon.
Put in preheated to t180°Remove from the oven and bake until ready (25~45 minutes).
After baking, let the cake cool almost completely without removing it from the mold. Then put the pan on a small flame in order to flood the resulting caramel.
Cover the finished pie with a dish on top, turn it over and carefully remove the pan.
