Bagels with cherries

Delicate layered bagels stuffed with fresh cherries. The dough is quick to prepare and besides, it is very convenient to work with it. Bagels are very delicate and layered. When I bake these bagels, I remember my childhood and my grandmother. She often baked such bagels! The aroma of freshly baked bagels, as I remember now, was all over the street. An indescribable taste!

Fresh pressed yeast can be replaced with dry yeast, based on the ratio of 3:1. That is, for 3 grams of fresh yeast required by the recipe, you need to take 1 gram of dry.

Put the cherries in a colander to defrost and let the juice drain.
Prepare the dough. Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm milk. Add 1 tbsp flour, mix, put in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.
Cut margarine into small pieces.
Add 1/4 tsp salt to the sifted flour. Mix margarine with flour, grind until crumbs form. Add sour cream and yolk to the mass, mix, add yeast and knead a soft dough, add flour if necessary.
Cut the dough with a knife, form a ball. The dough is ready.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and lightly oil it.
Divide the dough into 3-4 parts, leave 1 part, and wrap the rest with a film and put it in the refrigerator.
Roll out the dough thinly into a circle.
Cut into 12 triangular pieces.
Put the filling on the base, if desired, lightly sprinkle the cherries with sugar. Cover it with corners, and roll the triangle into a bagel.
Put the bagels on a baking sheet, leaving a gap of 3-4 cm between them.
Put in a preheated oven to 200 degrees. Bake for 20-25 minutes until tender.
Sprinkle hot bagels with powdered sugar and transfer to a tray
Bon appetit!
