White bread, unlike black, is baked from wheat flour.
Let's make a starter for bread. Dilute yeast and granulated sugar in 1.5 cups of warm water. Stir until the fresh yeast dissolves, pour 1 cup of flour. For half an hour we put the starter in a warm place for fermentation.
After half an hour, we fill up the remaining wheat flour, add water, salt and knead such a dough so that it does not stick to the walls of the dishes. Put the dough in the heat to rise for 2.5-3 hours. Twice during this time, the dough is kneaded (lowered).
Wheat bread can be baked in the oven in molds, or you can simply shape the loaf, smooth the surface and slightly moisten with water.
The finished dough is checked with a wooden stick: if there are no traces of dough, then lean bread is ready.
