Start with mixing semolina, flour, baking powder and sugar. We divide the mass into two equal parts. Then we rub the apples peeled from the peel and seeds on a coarse grater, squeeze lemon juice on them. We take a round or rectangular shape with straight high walls, carefully pour the first part of the dry mixture into it. We put all the apple filling on top, then again the dry mass of flour – the second one. We will end up with a three-layer cake.
Now boil the milk and pour it over the whole pie evenly (you can take a little more milk, then the pie will turn out juicy, not dry). We pierce it in several places with a fork so that the milk can sink to the bottom of the mold. And we send it to a preheated 180-degree oven for about one hour (maybe a little less).
