Parrot slices are such delicious cakes made of 3 types of dough that your family will definitely like! This culinary recipe is from Hungarian cuisine. To prepare the dough, mix the soft butter with the yolks of four eggs. Beat well and add sour cream, a pinch of salt and 200 g of sugar, mix everything thoroughly with a mixer. Then add a little cold water, sifted flour and a glass of apricot vodka or apricot liqueur to the dough. Beat thoroughly with a mixer, then add baking powder and mix everything well. Beat the egg whites into a thick foam. Divide the dough into equal 3 parts. In the first part, add the grated lime zest and a third of the proteins and mix with a mixer. In the second part, add the pudding powder and the second third of the proteins, mix everything. In the third part of our dough, add cocoa powder, a little water, the remaining proteins and the squeezed juice of 2 limes. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency.

Grease the baking pan with butter and pour ground biscuit crackers on the bottom. Pour these three masses into the mold in the following sequence: first the dough with pudding powder, then the dough with cocoa, and last of all the dough with lime. Bake the cake in the oven, preheated to 180 ° C, for 35-40 minutes. Serve the cake, sprinkled with powdered sugar and garnished with chopped fruits and berries.
