Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

From this recipe you will learn how to bake yeast-free pies in the oven on kefir with apples and other fillings. We take the products according to the list.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Preparing the dough. Quench the soda in kefir, add salt, eggs, sour cream, vegetable oil and mix well.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add the sifted flour and knead the soft dough. We form a bun, wrap it in plastic wrap and leave it in a warm place for 30 minutes. After about 20 minutes, turn on the oven and preheat it to a temperature of 180 degrees so that it has time to warm up by the time we put the pies in it.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

We make pies from dough with any filling, I made two types. The first filling is apples with prunes and nuts. Apples are grated and boiled in the microwave until soft (this is done so that they do not lose their color).

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pitted prunes are scalded with boiling water, cut and add to the apples. We also add chopped nuts there. Mix everything together. The second filling is sauerkraut with fried onions. Fry the chopped onion in a frying pan, add sauerkraut and fry everything together for a few minutes while stirring.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

We crumple the dough that has come up, divide it into equal pieces with a knife (or just pinch it off with our hands), spread it with our hands into flat cakes, put a small amount of filling in the middle and carefully fasten the edges. I made pies of different shapes so as not to get confused in the filling: I made triangular ones with apples, and oval ones with cabbage.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Spread the pies on an oiled baking sheet, grease with protein, sprinkle with chopped nuts and send them to the oven.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Bake the pies for 30 minutes and bake the next batch.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Everything, our pies are ready - cheap and angry, and, most importantly, very tasty, fragrant and appetizing!

I really love pies according to this recipe, as I adore baking from kefir dough. After baking, the surface of the pies is slightly covered with cracks, as it should be. The nuts stick well to the surface and they come out crispy from this.
