Rustic potatoes with herbs and garlic in the oven

Put the baking sheet in the oven and preheat it to 220 C.
Thoroughly wash and dry the potatoes.

Cut the washed potatoes into slices.

Boil water in a saucepan. Then put the potatoes in a saucepan and cook for 5 minutes over high heat.

Put the potatoes on paper towels and dry them well.

Transfer the potatoes to a large bowl. Add garlic squeezed through a press, dried herbs, salt, pepper and vegetable oil. Mix well.

Remove the hot baking sheet from the preheated oven and then put the potatoes on it. Spread the potatoes evenly.

Bake for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and turn the potatoes over, then put the baking sheet back in the oven. Bake for 7-10 minutes at 240C degrees.

Dill and parsley can be replaced with 1 teaspoon of paprika or you can use a special seasoning for potatoes. If you will use a seasoning for potatoes, then keep in mind that you do not need to add salt, or if the salt contained in the seasoning is not enough for you, then you can add a small pinch, but the main thing is not to over-salt. You can also mix vegetable oil with melted butter. At the end of cooking, you can turn on the convection mode in the oven in 1-2 minutes, but you need to be careful not to over-dry the potatoes. Ready-made potatoes can be served with any sauce to your taste. It can be ketchup, sour cream, garlic sauce, cheese sauce, chili sauce and so on. Potatoes go well with chicken or meat. If you decide to cut potatoes into large cubes, then keep in mind that the cooking time in the oven may decrease. After you turn the potatoes over (or mix them) and put them back in the oven, you will need to make sure that they are not overexposed, calculate an approximate time of 5 minutes.
