To prepare a Scottish meat pie, we will need 650-700 grams of ground beef. We spread the minced meat on a frying pan prepared for stewing and simmer it until ready. We select the excess juice and add finely chopped onions. Pour in the broth and simmer again until the onion becomes soft. Then add the spices. Dissolve two tablespoons of starch in water and add it to the minced meat. Put one cake of dough in a greased baking dish, put the cooked minced meat on top of it and cover with a second cake. Carefully pinch the edges of the cakes. Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees and bake the pie for 30-35 minutes. When the pie is cooked, take it out of the oven, let it cool down a little. Before serving, cut into portions and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
