Since my kids, like all other children in principle, are very fond of sweets, I often bake sweet food for them as a reward. This year I got my hands on one interesting culinary recipe from Australian cuisine. The cake is designed for 8 servings. First we need to prepare all the ingredients for the base. The basis will be meringue. In a deep bowl, we whisk 2 proteins until the mass has doubled, then gradually add 0.5 tbsp. sugar, a little starch and vinegar. Preheat the oven to 150 ° C. On the prepared baking sheet, we cover a sheet of parchment, and make a circle with a diameter of about 20 cm on paper. Spread the cooked mass on a baking sheet, leveling the surface. Bake, as soon as the meringue is ready, leave it in a closed, off oven.
Repeat the same thing in order to bake the second round. Filling: Peel the bananas and cut them into circles. Pour cream into a deep bowl, add powdered sugar and whisk until a fluffy mass is obtained. Then we smear the meringue with whipped cream, put sliced bananas on top and cover with a second circle of meringue. We prepare the cream. Soak the gelatin in 2 tablespoons of water. Sugar is whipped with lemon juice, too, until a fluffy foam is obtained and gradually add carrot juice and already cooked gelatin. We coat the cake with the finished cream from all sides.
Decorating a cake. Whisk the protein with lemon juice, and stirring constantly, add the powder. Divide the fudge into three equal parts. In the first we add carrot juice, in the second – cocoa, the third we leave white, decorate as you please.
And if you have the time and desire to please your children and husband including, then try to make an Australian Cake, you will not regret it.
