Currant wine is one of the most popular alcoholic beverages nowadays, both in Russia and abroad. There are a huge number of options for creating wine from currants. You can see red, white, and black currant wines. It all depends on the taste and desire to make a particular product. In this article you will get acquainted with the culinary recipe for making wine from currant (black). This recipe has been tried by more than a dozen people and we can say only one thing – the recipe did not disappoint. We advise you to try it.
10 kilograms of black currant should be separated from the combs, washed in clean water and passed through a juicer. Separately, the process of squeezing juice from 10 kilograms of red grapes should be carried out. The resulting squeezed juice from grapes is heated to a temperature of 25-300C, after which half a kilogram of sugar is added and mixed with blackcurrant juice, without cooling the components. The resulting mixture should be put in a bottle and fermented at a temperature of 23-250C. Fermentation will last for 9-10 days. Before the end of fermentation, the wine should be filtered through cotton wool and poured into washed and dried bottles. The bottles must be sealed with wine-soaked stoppers and stored in a horizontal position in a cool, dry place. We use it with suitable food.
