Plum wine can be prepared in different ways. This culinary recipe, for example, does not include vodka or alcohol, only the plums themselves and a little sugar are needed here. The fermentation of wine, however, takes much longer, but the taste of the drink turns out to be more saturated. The recipe for plum wine is found in many kitchens - plums grow everywhere.
We take only juicy, ripe plums of strictly one sort. Do not mix the varieties in any case, otherwise the wine will start to hurt your head. It's not a bad idea to take overripe plums for this, the juice in which is even more. The most important thing is the juice they release during fermentation. The more juice, the more wine you end up with.
Wash the plums well, remove the stems, cut into two halves. The bones are thrown away, and the plums are placed in glass containers with a narrow neck. We fill them with sugar and cover them with a rubber glove on top. We put the cylinders in a dark, warm place and forget about them for at least a month and a half. This is the time required for fermentation. When the deadline comes out, we filter the wine and pour it into bottles. We immediately seal the bottles and put them in the refrigerator. Any food can go with our chilled wine: meat and vegetable dishes – everything except desserts.
