Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

At the beginning we prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash and peel (potatoes, onions). For convenience, we put them in different containers.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Cut the chicken (fillet) into thin strips. Then we divide each strip by another half.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Put the chopped chicken and onion (half rings) in a saucepan, add mayonnaise and salt. Stir and leave to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Knead the dough. Add 4 cups of flour, 1 h / l of soda and 1 cup of kefir to the container. Mix until smooth in a container.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

On the surface, bring the dough to a homogeneous mass. Put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Divide the finished dough into two equal parts.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Grease the baking sheet with butter. Lubricate very carefully so that the cake does not burn.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Roll out the first part of the dough with a rolling pin in a baking dish (in my case, it's a baking sheet).

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Spread the dough on a baking sheet. Potatoes, pre-cut into circles, put on the dough in one layer.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

On a layer of potatoes we spread the chicken, which has already been marinated with mayonnaise and onions. We spread it out so that the entire surface is evenly filled with chicken.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Spread the remaining potatoes cut into round pieces on the chicken layer. We also distribute it evenly.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

The rolled out second part of the dough is placed on a layer of potatoes. We pinch the edges so that the juice does not flow out. We make small holes on top.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Grease the pie with egg and send it to the preheated oven to 180 degrees for 1 hour. We monitor the temperature - after 30 minutes, set the oven temperature to 150 degrees (so that the pie does not burn).

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

That's it - the pie is ready. We need to give it some time to cool down.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

    Bon appetit :)
