Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 10 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the necessary ingredients for making lemon glaze: you only need powdered sugar and lemon to get lemon juice.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Lemons should preferably be thoroughly rinsed before use, cut in half from any convenient way to extract lemon juice. It will take quite a bit. In order to make it easier to get the juice, there is an interesting technique: roll a whole lemon with effort on the table, pressing the fruit with your hand, the internal partitions will collapse and the juice will flow out faster.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

It is advisable to sift powdered sugar through a fine strainer before use. If you prepare the powder yourself and grind the sugar in a coffee grinder immediately before preparing the lemon glaze, then you can skip the sifting stage.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Gradually start adding squeezed lemon juice to the powdered sugar. Take your time! Constantly stir the sugar mass, which will become more and more fluid from thick.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Stir the lemon juice and powdered sugar well to make a slow flowing homogeneous thick mass. The recipe is good because if the glaze is too thick, it can be diluted with juice and vice versa, if it is very liquid, add more powdered sugar.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

The prepared lemon glaze is ready for further use. Use it immediately after cooking, until the glaze begins to dry. Enjoy your meal!

Lemon glaze is good because you can cook it quickly enough and you don't need a lot of products, the ingredients are available. The technology is the simplest! The recipe can be safely attributed to the universal, since this glaze can be decorated with various buns, cupcakes, .. Especially with such glaze it turns out well to decorate Easter cakes.
Also important is the fact that instead of lemon juice, you can take orange or lime juice - the glaze will acquire the appropriate flavor and aroma in this case.
