Homemade red currant liqueur

The bright taste of the drink will remind you of summer! Perfect for a festive table! There are always a lot of red currants in our garden. I make various preparations with it, but most of all I like to make liqueur. It requires almost no effort, and the result is excellent. Unless you have to be patient, after all, three months is a long time.

Wash the berries, remove the spoiled and fine litter, dry with a towel. We put the berries in a large jar in layers, interspersed with sugar.

Then pour the berries with vodka, close the lid tightly. The jar should be put in the cold, in a dark place for 3 months.

After this time, the liqueur should be filtered through several layers of gauze, bottled. In total, it turns out more than a liter of the tastiest liqueur.

It is completely ready for use. You can store it for a long time in a cool place.
