Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 hours

Prepare all the necessary products for the salad. Wash the carrots with a stiff brush so that no pieces of stuck earth remain on it. Boil the clean carrots until tender, it will take 50 minutes. I advise you not to take large carrots, as they cook faster. While the boiled carrots are cooling down, I advise you to do the filling.

Boil hard-boiled eggs, it will take 5-10 minutes. In order for the eggs to be cleaned better, add a teaspoon of salt to the water. Rub the eggs on a fine grater, so they will be more tender.

Also grate the processed cheese on a fine grater. Combine the eggs and cheese in a prepared bowl. A deep bowl is suitable for this.

Boil the chicken fillet. Choose the fillet chilled, but not frozen. Then, after cooking, it will retain its taste and juiciness. In salted, boiling water, lower the washed fillet and cook for 30-40 minutes. The cooking time will depend on the size of the pieces. Cool the finished fillet and chop it. The most convenient way to do this is with a blender.

Add the chopped chicken to the egg-cheese mixture. Add mayonnaise and mix well. So that the salad is not liquid and does not spread during formation, you should not add a lot of mayonnaise.

Grate the cooled boiled carrots on a fine grater. With finely grated carrots, it will be easier to form a salad.

Put a tablespoon of carrots on a plastic wrap and spread a thin layer. Roll the salad mixture into a ball and put it on the carrots. Wrap the carrot ball with a film. Gently squeeze in your hands, giving the shape of a tangerine. Put the finished tangerine ball on a serving plate.

Do the same with the remaining ingredients.

Decorate the resulting salad with herbs. I advise you to take basil leaves, as they are more like tangerine twigs. However, you can use any greens to your liking.
As a dressing, you can use homemade mayonnaise or sour cream.
The salad will look beautiful on the festive table. And on weekdays it is easily combined with any side dish. Try it with mashed potatoes or boiled rice.

Bon appetit!
