Cooking method

Cooking time: 25 min

1. We take cranberries and currants out of the freezer, defrost. Now we need to make berry puree from them, for this we beat them with a blender into a homogeneous mass.
2. Put the berry puree in a saucepan and pour 800 ml of water, after it boils, cook for another 5 minutes.
3. Filter through a fine sieve or gauze, folded in 2-3 layers. Add sugar to your liking and cook the syrup.
4. In a glass of cold water, we dilute the starch and pour it into the syrup, mix it quickly so that there are no lumps. It is not necessary to cook for a very long time, as it began to thicken, we remove the pan from the fire, when the drink cools down, it will become even thicker. To prevent a film from forming on the surface, you can sprinkle sugar on top and cool it under a closed lid. Jelly can be consumed both hot and cold.
