Cooking method

1. Put the currant berries in a saucepan and steam for a couple of minutes to soften the berries. After that, we transfer it to gauze, folded in several layers and squeeze the juice out of the berries.
2. We put the squeezed berries back into the pan and pour water, add sugar. Boil for 15 minutes and filter through a sieve.
3. In the squeezed currant juice, we dilute the starch, mix so that there are no lumps.
4. Pour the juice with starch into a saucepan with hot strained syrup. Constantly stir with a spoon, cook over low heat, without bringing to a boil. As soon as the jelly starts to thicken, turn off the fire.
