Compote of green grapes

Take care of the family - prepare a vitamin preparation for the winter! In our family, not a single day goes by without a compote. In winter, I cook from harvested berries and fruits (mostly frozen), but in summer there is plenty of space for a flight of fancy! Also, it does not do without blanks, because my children simply adore the ready-made sweet compote from a miracle jar :)

Cooking method

Cooking time: 50 min

Go through the grapes, remove all the spoiled, wrinkled, rotten berries. Then rinse under running water, remove all twigs.

Arrange the berries in sterile jars so that they occupy no more than 1/3 of the total volume.

Boil the water, fill the jars with grapes with it. Cover the jars with sterile lids and let the berries steam for 5 minutes.

Then pour the compote into a small saucepan, pour sugar and add citric acid, mix.

Put the pan on the fire and bring the liquid to a boil.

Pour boiling syrup over the jars and seal them tightly with tin lids. Turn the jars upside down and insulate with a terry towel.

After a day, the compote can be transferred to a permanent place of storage of blanks.
