Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 30 min

1. Wash the meat, dry it and cut it into cubes.
2. In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat the vegetable oil.
3. In several rounds, fry the meat over high heat until golden brown.
4. Put all the meat in a saucepan, add paprika, bay leaf and flour. Fry, stirring, for 1 minute.
5. Pour 300 ml of water, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer under the lid for about an hour.
6. Peel potatoes and cut into large cubes.
7. Pour in the remaining water and put the potatoes. Add salt and pepper.
8. Cook until the potatoes are ready and the meat is soft for about 40 minutes. Serve goulash with sour cream and parsley.
