Soup with dumplings with meat

Remember the sunny soup from childhood! Cook and enjoy! As long as I can remember, my mother always made me eat soups, and I stubbornly continued to dislike them. Although one of them could be called an exception to the rule – soup with dumplings. Here he was always appetizing. Let's remember this delicious dish and please our relatives with Ukrainian soup with meat and dumplings!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 52 min

1. Boil a piece of meat in lightly salted water. During cooking, carefully remove all the foam. Add allspice and a whole peeled onion to the broth.
2. Prepare the dough using herbs so that the dumplings are fragrant. In a deep bowl, beat the egg, pour in the milk, squeeze out the garlic and generously enrich with fragrant dried herbs. Mix all the ingredients, add flour, mix again. There is no need to achieve a steep dough, it should be thick and sticky enough.
3. Remove the finished meat from the broth, divide into pieces. It is desirable to strain the broth.
4. Using a spoon, put the dough into the boiling liquid. Cook the dumplings until ready - literally a few minutes (they should float to the surface), adding pieces of meat to the soup.

Serve the soup on the table, garnished with herbs.
