The first thing you need to do is make caramel:

- pour sugar into a saucepan with a thick bottom and melt it over medium heat, stirring gently with a wooden spatula;
- when the sugar melts, cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until a caramel mass forms;
- put the pan in a bowl with cold water so that the caramel is not digested and its color is preserved;
- immerse the physalis in the caramel mass, and then put it on a flat dish.

In a few minutes the original decoration will be ready.
