Green cabbage soup with nettles in chicken broth

Vitamin-rich, delicious - it will saturate with energy and will not add extra pounds. If you cook this dish in a season when the plant is already old enough, use young shoots. Old plants are not suitable for food, they are very tough. It is best to use early, spring, young leaves of nettle for food. They contain the most vitamins and are most useful for the body.

    Prepare everything you need. Wash the greens in advance from the ground and bugs.Sprinkle the nettle lightly with boiling water so that it does not sting and cut. If the nettle is very young, then you can use it together with the stem. And if not very, then it is better to use young leaves on top.

    Bring the chicken to a boil and cook for 1-2 minutes. Then we remove the pan from the fire, and wash the wings in running water. So we don't have to remove the foam with a slotted spoon from the broth. Then put in hot water for the broth, cover with a lid, bring to a boil, add salt, onion to the broth and cook for 30 minutes.

    Throw out the onion, take out the finished wings on a plate.

    Add carrots to the broth, cook for 5 minutes and add potatoes. Cook for another 15 minutes. Then put the bay leaf, peppercorns and allspice.

    Then all the greens. Boil for a couple of minutes and remove the pan from the heat. Do not forget to taste the soup, add salt or pepper if necessary. Let it brew for 20-30 minutes. At first, borscht will have a very strong taste of nettle. But as soon as the taste of nettle is infused a little, it will practically not be felt.
