Singing cockerel salad

A simple recipe for an original-looking salad for the New Year's table! Surely on the festive table on New Year's Eve there should be a dish with the image of the symbol of the coming year, do you agree? The easiest way, in my opinion, is to embody such an idea in a salad. You can introduce children to the creative process of salad decoration - they will be delighted :) By the way, in this way you can arrange any salad containing eggs in its composition.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 45 min

1. Boil the eggs, cool them and peel them from the shell. We separate the whites from the yolks, chop the yolks finely, put them in a bowl. Let's put the proteins aside for now.

2. Peel the onion, finely chop and add to the yolks.

3. Crab sticks cut across - plates. Put them in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients.

4. Add corn to the bowl.

5. We fill the salad with mayonnaise (or sour cream). You don't need too much of it, otherwise the salad will spread out when forming a cockerel.

6. If necessary, add salt and mix well. The salad is ready.

7. We proceed to the design of our salad - we spread it on a wide flat plate. We form a cockerel - body and head.

8. Finely chop the proteins and spread them on top of the cockerel. We form a tail from proteins.

9. Cut the olives in half and cut each half with plates lengthwise. We lay out the wing of the cockerel, decorate the tail. We make an eye from a piece of olive.

10. From French fries (boiled carrots) we spread the paws and an open beak - the cockerel sings :)

11. Cut out the comb and beard from the tomato. Everything is ready!

Good luck in the new year!
