Tulumba

In Turkey, this is a favorite sweet! It takes only 30 minutes to cook, try it yourself! Tulumba is a Turkish sweet.Such tubes of custard dough soaked in syrup. It is prepared very simply, but it turns out very tasty. Reminds me of "sweet cucumbers" from my childhood. Why they called cucumbers I did not understand))))

Cooking method

Cooking time: 30 min
To prepare tulumba, you need to boil water with oil. Add flour. Stir quickly and boil for a couple of minutes .Cool the dough a little and add the eggs while whisking. I had very large eggs, so the dough came out a little thin. Do not take large eggs)))
Prepare syrup: boil water and sugar and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. You can add about 20 mg of lemon juice (I like it better without lemon)
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or saucepan, put 2-3cm tulumbas from a pastry syringe with a serrated tip.
Fry on all sides until golden brown. Ready-made tulumbas are lowered into the syrup for 10 minutes.
