We cut pears, getting rid of the cores. We put the fruits in a saucepan with boiling water. Add as much sugar as we deem necessary, as well as citric acid. Cooking pear compote will take us 15 minutes. Very fast, isn't it? With a minimum of effort, we provided ourselves with a sweet refreshing drink.
