This Chinese fried dumplings is called in China "Meat hidden in gold coins". A lot of culinary recipes in the countries of Southeast Asia have a ritual character. So these "gold coins" are designed to ensure that everyone who eats them will become rich.
Pour flour into a bowl, pour boiling water and mix with a fork. Gradually add cold water and mix until the dough becomes homogeneous. Spread the dough on a board sprinkled with flour and knead it for about five minutes until smooth.
In a separate bowl, prepare the minced meat. Mix the twisted meat with finely chopped green onions and add the spices mixed together. Mix the minced meat thoroughly.
On a board sprinkled with flour, roll out the dough into a cylinder, and cut it into 18 identical parts. Each part is rolled into a circle with a diameter of 10 cm, and a thickness of 5 mm. In the center of each mug, add one tablespoon of minced meat. We grab the edges of the dough in a pinch and glue them in the middle. Then we give the dumplings a rounded shape.
In a wide frying pan, heat the oil strongly, and fry the dumplings until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
