Boil and cool the vegetables and eggs.
Grate the eggs.

Mash potatoes.

Crush beets and carrots with a blender.
Mix one part of the potatoes with beets, the second with carrots.

Finely chop the onion, pour boiling water, adding a few drops of vinegar. After 20 minutes, drain the water, squeeze the onion.

Peel the herring, chop finely, mix with onion.

Spread a sheet of pita bread with beet-potato mixture, spread mayonnaise on top.

Put the second sheet of pita bread. Arrange half of the herring with onions.
Put the third sheet of pita bread. Pour the grated eggs. Lubricate with mayonnaise.

Put the fourth sheet of pita bread. Grease with carrot-potato mixture, spread mayonnaise on top.

Put the fifth sheet of pita bread. Arrange the remaining herring with onions.
Roll the pita bread into a roll.

Wrap the roll in the sixth pita bread.

Cut the roll into small pieces with a thread. Put the barrels on a platter. Put a few pieces of herring on top.

Decorate everything with dill.
