You need to chop the mushrooms very finely, as well as onions. Then fry everything in butter. Who does not like a large amount of fat, you can replace butter with vegetable. But mushroom sauce it's still tastier on cream, because it's French cuisine.

After toasting, add flour and stir well. Lightly fry and pour broth (broth can be replaced with plain water). I take chicken broth.

Then add salt and ground pepper to the sauce, mix again. And give it some time to cook.

Put sour cream at the very end.

This mushroom sauce goes great with potato croquettes, vegetable cutlets, pasta, buckwheat or mashed potatoes.
