Fried rabbit in a frying pan

    Before frying, the rabbit meat must be marinated. To do this, pour white wine into a spacious bowl. Add salt and dry spices.

    Divide the rabbit carcass into parts. Rinse in running water and dry with a paper towel.

    Marinate the rabbit meat in the prepared marinade, smearing it on all sides. Leave it to marinate for 2 hours. During this time, mix the pieces so that they are evenly marinated.

    Heat the pan to a hot state before frying. Pour a little vegetable oil on it and fry the rabbit pieces on all sides until golden brown. Do not pour out the remaining marinade.

    Peel and rinse the onion in cold water so that your eyes do not water when cutting. Chop it finely.

    Add onion to fried rabbit. Fry everything together for a couple of minutes.

    Then add the remaining marinade to the pan and pour a little water. Bring everything to a boil and cover with a lid. Make a small fire and simmer for 1-1.5 hours (depending on the age of the rabbit and the size of the pieces).

    In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of sour cream and tomato paste. You can add a little water to mix it better.

    Add the tomato-sour cream mixture to the meat in the pan. Stir and simmer for another 30 minutes. In the process, turn the rabbit pieces several times so that they are evenly soaked in the sauce. Serve the finished rabbit hot with any side dish and fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!

Tender, dietary rabbit meat is especially popular. It is not only very tasty, but also very healthy. If you managed to purchase a rabbit carcass, then you are incredibly lucky.
